Minneapolis mourns for a third straight day after the senseless police killing of unarmed black man George Floyd. Police have been ordered to stand down as protestors filled the streets, burning down local businesses, housing complexes in an inspiring example of why we need a world without cops.
Demonstrating the copless utopia we could all live in if we finally rid ourselves of those jackbooted menaces, protestors destroyed their own communities in a powerful message to the system that the people can take care of themselves. It just goes to show that even in the darkest of hours there can be a flicker of hope, and that flicker can kindle into a blazing City on a Hill for all to see to flock to.
“People are out in the streets. The world is healing,” one bystander told The Derringer before we had to abandon the interview as the block was consumed in flames. If you have any information as to the whereabouts of our reporter, please contact us immediately.
