On Monday night, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced an impeachment inquiry into longshot presidential candidate Donald Trump. The announcement sent the candidate’s profile skyrocketing and may have had the opposite effect that the Speaker of the House was looking for.

Most Americans had never heard of this Trump guy before, but, after Pelosi’s announcement, they took to Google to find out more about the 2020 GOP contender. Search traffic spiked around 6 PM and his Twitter page doubled in followers.

On first impression, his profile seemed to resonate with a lot of Americans. It turns out this Trump guy is a real estate tycoon who went to the best school (Wharton) and got very good grades. He runs a very beautiful business (known as The Trump Organization) with great financials and very little debt. Also, great hair and skin!

Although a relative known before this incident, preliminary polls have him positioned to take a lead in the 2020 presidential race.

After seeing all the publicity, Joe Biden asked aides if there was a way he could be investigated as well.
