Last week, when an Iranian missile accidentally shot down a Ukrainian airliner, we all knew who to blame. Trump’s murderous adventurism in the middle east set off a chain of events that inevitably led towards this result. Unfortunately, many of the Iranian people (probably mindless Trump cultists) didn’t get the message because millions of them came out in the streets to protest Ayatollah Khamenei and his regime.

Luckily, there are still a few good people left in America, and one of them is South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg who appeared on Iran’s state TV over the weekend to urge the protestors to unite behind the common goal of beating Trump in November. “Remember,” said Buttigieg as he finished his televised address, “We are the Great Satan, not you. Never forget that.”

While many on the left applauded Mayor Pete for having the courage to speak the truth in this difficult situation, many right-wing grifters (probably Russian spambots) claimed that his remarks were positively anti-American. Sigh, grifters gonna grift, I guess.
