It’s an, errr, interesting marketing twist from the world’s largest tech company. Today, Apple rolled out a brand-new advertising campaign aimed at countering the Trump administrations tough China policy where they company makes most of its iPhones.
However, the new slogan “Taste the slave labor,” has raised some eyebrows across the industry. Their new ads feature the slogan under a pure white screen with a strangely delicious looking iPhone spinning in place. While visually striking, many have wondered if this is really the message that the smart phone maker wishes to convey.
“It’s probably the wrong message for our time,” said a cable news contributor, “But it’s not going to get me to switch over to Android or anything.” Wow. Powerful words.
